Follow the Swedish artist Marika René

I am testing a new way to add color to the background of my spaceart. It is fun and a little bit crazy, but I do really like this background colouring way.

During the swedish winter I go to Gran Canaria. It is a perfect place to be creative. I am a big fan of blue mussels. They are hard to find here but some weeks ago I was lucky to find them. This time I am creating a heart of gold.

A perfect day on Gran Canaria. The sun is shining and I have a lot of time to create art and enjoying the surroundings.

On the top of Gran Canaria we have found lots of wild figs. Very delicious and sweet. But the color is what inspires me. This year I have gotten a new idea. Follow for more.

After a long search I have eventually found the best seaglass beach on Gran Canaria. Lots of green glass due to the Tropical beer bottles.

The last touch of a Square of mussels. 20 x 20 cm. Now available in the store. Beautiful blue mussels from Särö on the swedish Westcoast mounted in a square.

It took a long time until I decided how to sign my artwork.I use a embossing tool with my own logo and sign with my initials MR and a dot.
